—A boy entered the dark, survived monsters and traps, and something else came out instead: just as he was entering his escape, a worm-shaped creature drilled into his skull, dug into his brain, commanded his limbs and learned from his memories. A parasite that had only known darkness, its aversion to light lasts to this day. The body's skin is always renewing itself, but it also burns easily; it's always at risk of being blinded and therefore debilitated. Its main instinct is to survive, having developed intelligence shortly after invading the body. With that it grew both curiosity and a filter, so it can be smug, it can pretend to be something else, and despite its weaknesses, it's always looking forward to becoming more powerful.
